You didn't post the question and I'm doing the homework right now so here it is:
pg 518 #1
- What property of a parallelogram is included in the definition of a parallelogram?
A parallelogram is a quadrilateral with both pairs of opposite sides parallel.
- What properties are described by the theorems in this lesson?
Opposite sides are congruent, consecutive are supplementary, and the diagonals bisect each other.
I should get extra points being the first one to post it and not writing in shorthand. ;]
Esha: Mr.Ortiz, I am doing the hw here ok. I hope u don't mind.

1. Vocabulary- What property of a parallelogram is included in the definition of a parallelogram? What properties are described by the theorems in this lesson?
Answer: The properties of a parallelogram that are included in its definition are that a parallelogram is a quadrilateral with two pairs of opposite sides being parallel. The properties of a parallelogram that are described by the theorems in this lesson are that opposite sides are congruent, opposite angles are congruent, consecutive angles are supplementary, and the diagonals that are formed, bisect each other
i don't know if i should write this or if I'm doing this right..

1. What property of a parallelogram is included in the definition of a parallelogram? What properties are described by the theorems in this lesson?
My Answer- A parallelogram is a quadrilateral and both pairs of its opposite sides are parallel. The theorems describe that opposite angles are congruent and opposite sides are congruent. Also consecutive angles are supplementary and diagonals that are formed bisect each other.
hehehe =] i did my hw
I finished my homework and I'm bored so:
page 546 question #2
2)Describe the difference between a kite and a trapezoid.
A trapezoid is a quadrilateral with exactly one pair of parallel sides and the parallel sides are the bases. A kite is also a quadrilateral that has two pairs of consecutive congruent sides, but the opposite sides are NOT parallel.
I should get extra points being the first one to post it and not writing in shorthand.AGAIN! ;]
theres a difference between a kite and a trapezoid. A trapezoid is a quadrilateral with one pair of paralle sides. A kite is a quadrilateral that has two pairs of consecutive congruent sides but opposite sides are not congruent

Writing: Describe the differences between a kite and a trapezoid.
Answer: There are some differences between a kite and a trapezoid. A trapezoid is a quadrilateral with one pair of parallel sides. A kite is a quadrilateral that has two pairs of consecutive congruent sides but opposite sides are not congruent. Also the diagonals of a kite make perpendicular lines while the diagonals of an isosceles trapezoid are congruent. An isosceles trapezoid has both of its pair of base angles being congruent. But a kite has exactly one pair of opposite angles which are congruent. So just a trapezoid and kite has few differences but a isosceles trapezoid and a kite has many differences.
- I didn't know where to put it so I am putting it here, plese check it.
Thank you Mr.Ortiz!
P.S. I am not sure if the answer is correct but I am just trying so I hope thats good enough!!!
